I'm Daniel, a guitar player blessed by the power of shred. I live in Tromsø, Norway (which is cold) and my interests is mostly guitar and music/video editing. I play in a band called Condemn the Creed which plays normal metal consisting of thrash, melodic, death like influences.

My name is Steve, I'm 16 and I live in Brussels, Belgium. I created the forum so I'm the admin, the mod, whatever but I can kick your ass if I want to! I hope I won't have to do it though.

I play the guitar too. The bands I like are definetely IN ARKADIA, Children Of Bodom, Arsis, Kataklysm, Sinergy and much more. I've just discovered which is a fucking kick ass band, check them out!

That's a bit short but we'll get to know each other much more by posting I think!

That nickname came when I told Kevin (on this board) Satan was watching him when he was doing some math exercises. At the same time, the girl was watching him so I from that day I call her Satan.

I'm Kevin. I'm 16 and I'm a guitar cleaner... hum "player". I play too few. When I come home after school I don't have the courage anymore. I take my guitar, I play ten minutes and it's all. So I look forward to holliday.

Your English needs some work but I'm sure you'll improve it by posting more here!

And nor worry man, I'm also very lazy when it comes to practising. I also always say that I have no time left once I get back home because of homework and then I'll be able to practise much more during holliday but it always ends up as every time: no practising. I definetely need some discipline to practise my technique because I don't wanna stay at the same level for years.

For those who didn't know, we're in the same school, same class.

I play since approximately 1 year when I bought my RR3. Before I payed the classic guitar but I didn't like that. I want say that the lessons were bad. It was very boring.

It can seem boring yes, but you actually use everything you learn later on.

The problem is I learned almost nothing. The other guitar players didn't work at home so the teacher has to start again every lesson.

Yeah those lessons were fucking stupid. It was lessons given by a teacher at school and he tried to teach almost 15 people at the same time and a lesson lasts more or less 40 minutes. How can you learn something that way? All those guitar players were lazy-asses. The only thing they learnt was some basic major and minor chords to play some french variety acoustic music.

It's not as if he got lessons from a guitar teacher and learnt theory and how to play classical masterpieces and have a good technique. I've played the classical guitar in a music school for 4 years and at the same time I studied music theory. I dropped out because I wanted to play the electric guitar to play some punk powerchord shit and I regret it now. Classical guitar is awesome. BUT YOU CAN'T PLAY METHULZZZ WITH IT!
